A LIVE CONNECTION: is the first full length filmed concert performance in Marconi Union’s 20-year history and a unique opportunity for fans old and new to experience a Marconi Union immersive live show.
Drawing from the span of their back-catalogue with an emphasis on the more expansive, textural side of their sound, it demonstrates just how the band have built a substantial worldwide following despite rarely playing live.
Premium Ticket buyers will also be able to view SIGNALS, an additional film featuring the band performing material from their most recent album, Signals, showcasing the rhythmic aspect of the band's sound alongside their ever-present sense of atmosphere and melody.
Directed by John Surdevan, A LIVE CONNECTION and SIGNALS invite the viewer into the world of Marconi Union, by placing the band in an intimate setting. Filmed in one of Manchester's more unusual venues, The Yard (a stone's throw from HMP Manchester, formerly Strangeways Prison). The decision to include their live visuals further evokes the feel of MU's live show.
